But which is the right aerial class for you?

Static Trapeze

The original aerial discipline created by Jules Leotard in the 1800’s. A metal bar suspended on two ropes. A great starter skill that builds strength, stamina and an understanding of the aerial language (& great way to tone up bingo wings). You will learn hangs, drops, rolls, poses, balances, beats and develop your creativity to put them together to create sequences and routines. Classes for absolute beginners and advanced are available.

Aerial Silks

A single piece of fabric folded in half to create two strands. These are used to climb and wrap to create locks, rolls, balances and incredible shapes. An amount of fitness is required to get the best out of the class but absolute beginners as well as advanced practitioners are welcome.

Hoop (Lyra or Cerceux)

A circular spinning metal hoop suspended in the air. Classes are available for absolute beginners and for professional level aerialists. A graceful skill that combines poses, holds, braces, beats, spins and saltos to build beautiful routines.

Silk Sling, Aerial, Aerilist, Flexible, Bendy

Silk Sling

Easier than silks and softer than trapeze and hoop, this class is both suitable for beginners and great fun for the more advanced practitioner.  You learn the wraps, rolls, braces and spins in a looped piece of fabric.

Rope, corde lisse, strength, climb, aerial, aerialist

Rope (Corde Lisse)

Even if you have never climbed a rope before, these classes will teach you the technique of ascending the rope and the balances, braces, locks, wraps and rolls  to create a great rope routine. A general level of fitness is required, but climbing a rope should be one of the basic life skills we all need, like swimming or riding a bike.  Beginner classes and advanced classes are available.
