About Us & Meet the Team
Located in Sydenham, My Aerial Home was founded by Amanda Miles in 2009. From humble beginnings with three borrowed trapezes in a local school hall, MAH moved to a new bespoke facility in 2015 and cemented its position as an important local and international resource. The school is open full time with classes and courses for all levels. Classes start from the age of 2 years and there is a thriving children’s and teen aerial training community as well as an adult evening and weekend programme for hobbyist aerialists. My Aerial Home also promotes aerial as a professional career with intensive courses from one week to three months as well as teacher training courses and rigging. My Aerial Home also supports emerging artists with jobs and training to create a sustainable aerial career.

Supporting Artists with Sustainable Careers
My Aerial Home supports young artist by encouraging sustainable careers in the aerial arts. We allow all trainers and teachers to continue their performance career and then return to their teaching or supporting roles at My Aerial Home when they have finished a performance contract. This way we hope to stem the “boom and bust” life of a performer giving them some financial stability. We are thrilled when artists come back with new ideas and skills is great for their students and enhances and develops their teaching practice.
Teachers also train up to become professional performers with our sister company, Air Dance Productions, for contracts on the Arvia and the Queen Anne.
Ongoing Training
At My Aerial Home we offer ongoing classes at reduced rates or some courses for free to enhance their teaching and personal practice. All teachers have been through one of our intensive courses such as the 1 month, 3 month or teacher training courses.
Choe Grey - BMB Therapy
