Amanda Thompson
Teacher
Amanda is a London based creative with a background in dance and circus. She trained professionally at Laban, graduating with a BA in Dance Theatre and went on to work freelance as a dance artist and aerialist before making a career change and qualifying as a primary school teacher. As an educator, Amanda has held many roles from Class Teacher to Assistant Headteacher and holds a master’s degree in Social Justice and Education.
After some years away from dance and circus, Amanda reconnected with her love for aerial in 2021 at My Aerial Home. Since then she hasn’t looked back!
